Today celebrating 2022 #WorldTourismDay I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart all those people, that my family and I have hosted for this summer. Some of you didn’t know us at all, heard about us, others from the internet and many have known us for years!
Hospitality for me personally is my art, as I grew up on this blessed island together with the then tourists and later friends, I studied (still studying) and researched Tourism and also worked in several and different posts and companies. Through all of this, and above all of this, I have to say that beyond the natural beauty (inspiration), the cultural heritage (legacy), there are always the people: the residents and the visitors and the relationships that are created between them. Yes indeed, Tourism is a Social Science, where you have to have love for people to serve them!
